Section 4 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

① Press the TUNING key. The TUNING lamp lights. (The

frequency can be changed only when the TUNING lamp

is lit.) At this time, the figure of the digit that can cur-

rently be changed blinks.

② Press the RESOLUTION key and select whether the fre-

quency is to be set in MHz or kHz.

When the frequency can be set down to kHz, an 8-digit

number is displayed. (Five digits for MHz.)

③ Select the digit to be changed with the keys. The

figure of the digit that can be changed blinks.

④ Change the frequency by turning the rotary encoder.

Note: The frequency may not be stable just after the power is turned on. Make a warm-up run for 10 minutes or longer

before use.

CAUTION

Life time of coaxial switches:

This equipment uses built-in coaxial switches, whose average life time is as

follows.

Number of switching times: One million times
